Every year when seasons change and winter is coming, that time of year when leaves fall and temperatures drop, coats and jackets become a non-negotiable essential for cold weather layering. When coziness and intimacy inside the house alternate with cold winds and rain outside and everything that blossomed just a view months ago in stunning bright colours, now seems old and tired, I am always overwhelmed with a deep respect for mother nature. Because it is capable to surprise me every year again with what seems a last effort of stunning gold yellow brown beautiness which layers all over woods, gardens and fields. It is as if nature says every transition is beautiful. Even growing old. This is why fall as a season inspires me the most and it is also this feeling and of course the beautiful fall colours, that I use as a guide for my fall wardrobe. However, fall is also the season that challenges me the most, because you can layer up with different kind of clothes (even mix summer pieces with knitwear), because sometimes it is not that cold.

In Fall I love to wear Parkas, especially this militairy one from Woolrich, from their latest FW’16 collection. It is so warm and comfortable that I could live in it all day. It also gives my always feminine looks a more edgy touch, which matches the winter and fall seasons even more.
