INTO THE BLUE

I’m happy to show you this newest editorial. It was shot in the centre of Amsterdam, although it doesn’t seems like it. Just May, but with the sun already melting on my skin, exotic plants all around and reflections on the wall, I felt like it was a mid summer day in a random Mediterranean country. (Yes the area that I love so much). So my dears, whether you believe it nor not, even Amsterdam in May can be all summery.

But enough about the weather and the scenery. Let’s talk about the dress, who is an absolute eye-catcher! I am totally in love with it’s unique print and structure. So different from what I have ever seen and on a day like this, the shades of blue light up in the sun. The colors in combination with the feminine silhouette makes the dress suitable for a cocktail party, a dinner with friends or a cool fashion event. You’re not overdressed but still you make a statement with this dress at many occasions.

In my opinion, a dress like this doesn’t need a lot of styling. In general I think that to many eye-catchers become distractions instead of attention magnets and this beautiful dress is an eye-catcher in itself. So therefore I chose a minimalistic necklace and heels in the same color tones to finish the look. With this look anyone can float off into the blue, even if it is only in your mind…
