SPRING IN PARIS
Spring in Paris feels like finally finding what you’ve been longing for. It is more than just a warm breeze after a long winter; it feels like a new beginning every year again for someone like me. Someone, who dreads the cold and longs for a bit of sun on a regular basis. Paris in the spring is more than just occasional good weather; it always gives me a bit of hope, a feeling of new life and energy. The blossom trees along the Seine, the reflection of the sun in the water, the way the people dress.
A little pop of color here and there or the classic trench coat people wear, to keep themself warm, sitting at the Parisian terraces, while sipping cappuccino or drinking red wine. All signs of a promising summer season to come.
That same feeling I want to capture in my outfit. To give a spring vibe to this fashionable cobalt blue suit, I added red shoes and the colorful fashion illustrations at my silk top. This look is strong but at the same time very comfortable, because of the materials. The pants of the suit are a loose fitting form and have the same silky and light material as the top. It is like the French say ‘luxury is all about being comfortable’.
