This look reminds me of the girl with the green scarf Isla Fisher in the movie ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic”.. She wrote a column under the alias ’ ‘The girl with the green scarf’ in a financial magazine and it became an unexpected succes. I love that movie and she inspired me to wear more colours than only black and white and an occasional third colour.
This look is based on one colour only. Emerald green. A special colour that you don’t often see so dominant in a look. I admit, the skirt is a kind of ‘overkill’ statement, but it is a good thing to step out of your comfort zone once in a while. Especially during fashion week. So I did and enjoyed it. Me and my team actually almost got killed shooting this look in the middle of the roundabout of The Arc the Triomphe. Cars, scooters and motorbikes zoomed by all the time and we had to be careful not to get hit, which made it difficult to really focus. But yeah, no worries, you can expect this when you are near the Arc de Triomph  and basically everywhere in Paris. Chaos and people in a hurry are a daily routine in the city of lights. Nevertheless, I will always be in love with Paris. I wouldn’t miss it’s fashion weeks for the world and I enjoyed this outfit so much that I spent the rest of the day going to shows to it.
